Candy Crush Saga takes you to an adventure filled sweet surprises. It’s a match-three puzzle adventure game that promises an exciting gameplay experience. Candy Crush Saga comes with hundreds of exciting levels in three tasty ways of playing: timed levels, target score, and dropdown and order mode.
First released on April 12, 2012, for Facebook by the tech company King, the app has evolved and embraced other platforms including Android, iOS, and Windows Mobile. The developers of the app say that Candy Crush Saga is a game that keeps getting sweeter the longer you play.
The app’s exciting features include bonuses like Spin the Daily Booster Wheel; Dream World which unlocks at level 50; new levels in the Candy Kingdom added every two weeks; and tasty candies, color bombs and an assortment of magical boosters.
Candy Crush Saga is one of the first apps to utilize the freemium model successfully. Under this setup, all game levels are playable without spending money, but in-app purchases are offered for special boosters that could help clear the board.
In August of 2014, it was reported that more than 93 million people were hooked to Candy Crush Saga which generated $493 million in revenue over a period of three months.
